In this episode of SAFE HAVEN Fireside Chats, we spoke with Dr. Jesse Myers about the whole-body health connection to dental health. He explained his approach to healing teeth and gums, and shared several of his personal habits to keep his teeth in great shape.
Dr. Myers also shared about his Functional Dentistry practice in Staunton, Virginia, and how they approach oral wellness through a variety of integrative therapies and technologies.
Dr. Myers received a B.A. Degree from Liberty University in 2015 and D.M.D. Degree from University of New England in 2021. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), Shenandoah Valley Dental Association (SVDA) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
Dr. Myers is an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys rock climbing, hiking, solo backpacking, camping, surfing, etc. His favorite sport growing up was soccer and he still enjoys playing in adult soccer leagues. Dr. Myers is also passionate about nutrition and how it pertains to complete whole body health and to dentistry. He strives to help other’s achieve their health goals and is also an advocate for regenerative farming practices.
